What is Ceramic Tile?:
Ceramic tile is usually relatively thin in relation to its flat side surface area, and is made from clay or a mixture of clay along with other ceramic material. These tiles come in either a "glazed" or "unglazed" finish.
How do I care for Ceramic Tile:
- New Installations: Glazed tile does not need sealing, although the grout does. This is best done by a professional using the right tools, and products for your situation. Unglazed tile needs to be sealed upon completion of the installation to protect the tile and grout. Again, we can do this for you at reasonable cost.
- Refinish/Restore: Unglazed tile needs periodic resealing/refinishing to restore the original beauty and protection to the tiles. The same thing applies to the grout with glazed tile. We can do this for you whenever required
